I woke up this morning to grey skies, wet grass and a very unhappy dog (he doesn't like to outside when the grass is wet... hence his unhappiness). I went to an early lunch with my friend Brynn and her two cute kiddos and by the time I got back, the sky looked like this...
So wonderful, right? I am SO sick of this May grey and cannot wait for summer. This weird weather sure puts a damper on things.
Carl accidentally took my laptop with him this morning to work (in all fairness, I left it in his car...whoops) so I was unable to get much work done today (it's going to be a late night editing). I resorted to cleaning my house, something I usually make excuses not to do, so this was a big deal. Our wood furniture is looking mighty fine after my cleaning spree if I do say so myself, don't you think :)

How amazing does my snack look? And yes, I did eat the entire plate, sorry hubs.
My favorite person in the world got my this little treasure a few weeks ago and it is my new best friend. I was able to shoot almost 2,500 RAW images at my last wedding, amazing, right?
Well, that pretty much sums up my day. Now I have brownies in the oven and my hubs is on his way home. I'm making cilantro lime shrimp tacos tonight. Delish!
