Easter Celebrations

After the Good Friday service at church we headed over to Friday's for a loud, crazy, fun dinner with my family and Tessa's future in-laws :)

Here Garrett and I were entertaining little Payten with stickers on our noses... counting 1,2,3...(yes, I have stickers in my purse but I work with kids so can you blame me?)

I think it's safe to say that Payten is the center of attention at family gatherings... when her brother arrives this September she'll have to share the spotlight...we'll see how that goes.

Garrett and Pay on Easter

I think she liked her Easter basket from her auntie and uncle for all of 2 seconds before she found something else to play with.

Family photo :)

Our attempt to get a photo without Koby but he is always lurking somewhere around us.

Apparently when I laugh my eyes disappear, I can blame that one on Carl...he must have past it on to me.

Girl photo (mom, where are you?)

And with girls comes a lot of baby lovin'

Kelly and her boys came over to say hi, here is Payten kissing baby Reese. Payten puckers and Reese goes in for the kill!

This is what my future will look like (they are practically twins in their shirts).

Or like this...

My dad and Kelly's boys putting on a puppet show. My dad is hands down, the best grandpa in the world.

Easter always reminds me of how much God loves us and that He gave His precious Son to die for us so that we could be with Him forever. His love is so unconditional and I feel unworthy everyday. But that is the beauty of who He is, there is nothing that we can do to earn or deserve His love. He loves us just the way we are. It is agape love, perfect love, sacrificial love, unearthly love and I feel so blessed to be loved by God.

Nature always reminds me of God's presence in my life. Whenever I go to the beach, I cannot help but picture Him painting the sky with every sunset and signing a song with every crashing wave. It's so beautiful.

We have been doing a lot of this lately...
