Some of our good friends invited us up to Big Bear for New Years Eve and we decided to make the trip up there. The freeways were surprisingly clear at 12:30pm and the drive was the easiest we've ever had up to the mountains. We spent the night playing numerous games that consisted of Left Right Center (invest in this game...its worth it!), Things, and Phase 10. We had such a blast with great friends and it was a wonderful start to a great year.
Prepare yourselves, these photos are not very attractive but hey, that's what we look like after a long day of working, driving and playing games all night...

I forgot to mention, Carl brought some sparkler fireworks and lit those right after our new years kiss :)
I have so many goals this coming year that I am excited about. Carl and I have committed to growing more in our relationship with Christ and getting more involved in our church. We are so excited to see what God has in store for us this year and know that it is going to be amazing because God is faithful. Some of my other personal goals this year are to clean more, cook more, read more, work less (not work on my computer after 6pm), serve more, share more, order prints of our photos for the past 2 years, make photo albums, grow more in my photography business, and there are plenty more that I cannot think of right now because I am home with a bad cold ;)
