Baby, baby, baby, OH

We are incredibly excited to be expecting our first baby this October! I have dreamed of being a mommy my entire life and everything feels so surreal. We are soaking up all of the fun changes and love watching my belly grow each week. I started showing immediately and I am thoroughly enjoying my belly :)

We are truly amazed at the work of our Creator and how he creates life in a human being. I am in awe of Him and feel so blessed to be able to carry a child. We know the Lord has a beautiful plan for our baby and we cannot wait to watch it unfold as we bring our baby into this world. It is truly a blessing to be able to raise a child. "Children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward." Psalm 127: 3-5. As God does His work inside my body, growing this little baby for the next 26 weeks, I am at a loss for words when I read this scripture- "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in that secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be" Psalm 139: 13-16.  I can only imagine how much we will love this baby but we know that God loves our child more than we ever possibly could and for that we are grateful .  He knows the baby's name already, how many hairs will be on it's head, what our baby will look like and so much more. I am utterly amazed by how much God loves us. We cannot wait to meet this little pumpkin and love it to pieces.

This is such an exciting and emotional time for me and I am taking it all in, one day at a time. Now for some photos from the first 11 weeks, I will get to the rest later.

Almost 11 weeks on Easter (I'm pretty sure my cousin's dog is the best part of the photo)

First ultrasound of our little pumpkin at 8 weeks & 4 days, so in love already!

We love you pumpkin!
